Cruise Ready Workshop – Albany

Monday 25th March 2019

Tourism Western Australia is excited to announce a Cruise Ready Workshop will be held in Albany, in cooperation with the City of Albany on Monday 25th March 2019.

The Workshop will provide insights into successfully servicing the cruise market, covering a range of topics including meeting cruise line/passenger expectations, how cruise lines work in regard to shore excursions, and optimising business and community benefits.

The Workshop has been arranged to coincide with the maiden call by Viking Sun to Albany.  Viking Cruise’s appointed ground handler, Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services will be on hand to manage landside operations, and they are delighted to avail an opportunity to interact with the local Albany community via this workshop.

Intercruises is an experienced global business offering turnaround, shore excursion, port agency and hotel services to the ocean and river cruise industry. Cruise specialist teams handle all vessel, guest and crew needs, before, during and after a ship’s time in port.  Intercruises operates in over 60 countries spread across the Americas, Asia, Australia, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

Intercruises has kindly arranged for James Coughlan, Shore Excursion Manager – Australia, to present at the Workshop in Albany and you are warmly invited to attend as follows:
